1989-1998 Training as a glassmaker at the State Vocational Training Center for Glass, Zwiesel / D.
1994-1998 studies at the State Academy of Fine Arts, Stuttgart / D, with Prof. Seemann and Prof. Hewel (specialization in glass design and sculpture).
Working as a freelance glass designer since 1997.
Various teaching activities and exhibitions at home and abroad.
2nd prize in the field of promoting young talent in the Bavarian Forest Prize of the Glasmuseum Frauenau 1993.
Award winner in the competition of the basic classes of the Stuttgart Art Academy in 1995.
1st prize of the art award of the city of Munster at the Glasplastik und Garten 2002 in Munster for his work “Zwischenwelt
