Valda Verikaitè
Lithuania
was born in Kaunas in 1981. She studied glass art at the Kaunas University of Art and Education and graduated as a master of glass art. In 2007 she completed a bachelor's degree and in 2009 a master's degree at the Kaunas Faculty of the Vilnius Academy of Arts. She has her own studio and works as an art teacher at the J. Gru?as School in Kaunas. Since 2003 she has participated in exhibitions in Lithuania, Latvia, Denmark, Ukraine, Poland, Germany and Bulgaria. She has organised several solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions and symposia. She has been a member of the Lithuanian Artists' Association since 2013 and actively participates in its organisational and curatorial activities. Her works can be found in the Kaunas City Museum, the Neman Factory Museum, the Lviv Glass Museum and the Luciano Benetton Collection of the Imago Mundi Foundation. She has received numerous awards.
